Each picture in the collection is presented on a separate page, complete with a large thumbnail image and a detail. You can access these picture pages in two ways. If you just want to browse, we provide below a simple table of subject categories and painting styles for you to explore. If you want to see works of particular artists, we have listed all the artists and their works on the Featured Artists and Works pages.

Subject Categories and Painting Styles

In the following table, subject categories are shown on the left side, while painting styles are listed across the top. Clicking on any of the numbers in the table takes you to a catalogue of thumbnail pictures corresponding to the category and/or style chosen - the numbers are the number of thumbnails in that catalogue.

Clicking on the number in the single box with the heavy border takes you to the main catalogue containing thumbnails of all the pictures in the collection. If you have a high-speed connection, that's the best way to see everything we've got.
